Who are we?
The M61 Group is a collection of venues located within easy access of the M61 motorway. Venues include international hotel chains, non-residential venues and unique historical settings. There are around 130 meeting spaces to choose from - so whatever the size of your event or budget, we can offer the right venue to you. The area has excellent motorway access from across the UK and is convenient for many mainline railway stations and Manchester Airport. In total, the M61 Group offers over 1,000 bedrooms and a choice of over 130 suites capable of welcoming up to 10,000 guests.
Something a little bit different…
Sometimes you need to leave the hustle bustle of the office behind you and find a place where you and your delegates can be 100% focused on the job in hand. Training, staff evaluations and VIP client events often need a space which is a little bit special, a little bit rural and has lots of peace and quiet. Why not take your event to a magnificent manor house filled with history and even the odd ghost? All you have to do is switch off the mobile, unplug the laptop and breathe in the rich country air.

Of course, there are times when you just have to be in the thick of it - buzzy venues in central locations. Many of the venues on offer are in town centre locations with lots of options for post-event activities. The bright light of Manchester, Liverpool and Preston are all within easy access - so theatre nights, concerts and major sporting events can be arranged as part of your social programme. We’ll find you a taxi, or a coach for your delegates, and can even help you find the perfect restaurant for your dining needs.

Often what happens outside the boardroom is just as important as what happens inside. Need to get your delegates working as a team? Many of the venues can offer indoor and outdoor team building activities or why not take your delegates on a hike in the beautiful West Pennine Moors? A tour of a football stadium can make for a really unique break-out session.
